Train the Traditional Muay Thai Way
Traditional Muay Thai gyms in Thailand train for several hours each evening, developing skill through bagwork, padwork, drilling, clinching, and sparring. At Kings, we've adapted that traditional training philosophy into focused 45-minute classes, making authentic Muay Thai training fit today's busy schedules.
Each class is designed to complement the others. Build your technique on the heavy bag, refine it on the pads, develop timing through partner drills, and apply your skills during controlled sparring. Train one class or combine multiple sessions to create your own complete Muay Thai training experience.
Heavy Bag Class
Monday to Friday - 45 min class
Our Bagwork class is a non-contact class where you'll train on the heavy bag individually or with a partner. You'll learn proper Muay Thai technique while developing balance, footwork, power, endurance, and conditioning in a structured, coach-led environment.
Perfect for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, this class builds the technical foundation for everything you do in Muay Thai. Whether your goal is to get in shape, lose weight, improve your striking, or build your conditioning, Bagwork is an excellent place to start. Required Equipment: Boxing Gloves
Padwork Class
Monday to Friday - 45 min class
Padwork is the heart of Muay Thai training and one of the most effective ways to develop timing, power, speed, precision, coordination, and conditioning. Working with a partner, you'll apply the techniques you've learned while receiving coaching and feedback throughout every round.
Each class consists of three 5-minute rounds of hitting pads, followed by a short break and three 5-minute rounds of holding pads. Before each round, our coaches will demonstrate the combinations and guide you through the techniques, ensuring students of all experience levels can follow along with confidence.
No prior experience is necessary. We'll teach you how to both strike and hold Thai pads properly, making this class perfect for beginners while continuing to challenge advanced students.
Required Equipment: Boxing Gloves & Shin Guards
Sparring/Clinch Drills Class
Monday to Thursday - 45 min class
Our Sparring Drills & Clinching class is designed for all experience levels and focuses on building skills in a safe, controlled environment. New students develop proper offense, defense, timing, and reactions through structured drills before any face contact is introduced, while experienced students progress into controlled sparring. Clinching starts with the fundamentals and builds into live clinch work as students become more comfortable and skilled.
